Heaven’s Postman

This movie was sensational.

The OST just blew me away.  Well, the instrumental songs, like Last Days of Autumn, and A Letter to You, were just so good, I can’t even describe.  They were SO AMAZING OHMYGOODNESS.  The songs with words were meh, I guess.  Idk, the instrumental songs were just so….magical.  They really added a fantastic element to the scenes where they played.

Han Hyo Joo and Jaejoong!  I LOVED LOVED LOVED Han Hyo Joo in Shining Inheritance, because her acting was really solid.  Her character in Shining Inheritance, Eun Sung, and her character in Heaven’s Postman, Ha Na, seemed pretty similar to me in terms of their personalities.  And I love them both 🙂  I’m really excited for her upcoming movie Only You with So Ji Sub.  I can’t wait for it to be subbed onlineee, omggg.  The trailers look awesome.  As for Jaejoong (I think I spell his name differently in another post, but w/e.  I am writing this as a stress reliever from all my hw, therefore I have a limited time, and don’t have the freedom to worry about technicalities…. lol.  Anywhoooo, the first time I watched Jaejoong act was in Protect the Boss, which I have yet to finish because of school, and also because I’m not too interested in this whole whistleblower, oh no! stuff…. But yeah, I like his acting, although I have to admit that it’s not great.  But hey, I don’t think really anyone’s acting is great (except Han Hyo Joo, heehee, loljk)

But yeah.  Back to this movie.  I cried at the end, not because of the oh no, I won’t be able to see him anymore!, but when Jaejoong’s character is going back to earth from heaven, and he sees all the people who are entering heaven, we see the old man who was doubting his wife’s fidelity, leading him to wonder if his son was in fact his own flesh and blood.  He is walking, and then we see his wife sitting on a bench, and they see each other, and they hug, and it’s a happy reunion, and I was just like AWWWWW, and the tears came.  Yeah.

The ending credits/narration were cute, especially with the part where Jaejoong’s character became a real mailman and had the urge to read other people’s letters haha.  So CUTE.

So yeah.  I recommend this movie.  🙂

Shining Inheritance Character Relationship Chart

I love this show.

ALSO.  I love the actor who plays Eun Woo.  This kid, Yun Joon Suk, is the same age as me, and at the beginning of the show, I couldn’t tell if he was really autistic in real life or not.  His performance is just wonderful.  He plays an autistic child so well, I really can’t believe that he isn’t!  It still confounds me every time I think about it.  He’s such a cutie 🙂

Shining Inheritance Episode 19

So the entire last like 10ish minutes of the episode, I spent screaming and yelling and banging my table.  Because I was SO INCREDIBLY PISSED OFF.  Goddang.  That evil mother corrupted her daughter and is now spiraling in her descent to heck.

Anywhoo.  I am just sitting here in wait for the episode where all these lies and complete bullcrap come back and bite the mom and Seung Mi in the butt.

Han Hyo Joo really acted well in the ending scene though, like her crying was really realistic, and she just looked so shocked!  It was really good.  I like her acting a lot, and her eyes are really pretty!

I am loving this drama more and more!  This is shaping up to be my favorite k-drama.

Shining Inheritance Episode 12

THAT WOMAN.  THE MOM.  SO BAD.  UGGHHHHHH.  I don’t like saying this about drama characters, because it make me feel mean, but she really needs to go die off.  Like it’s ridiculous.  Every time she comes on screen, I want to slap her.  Multiple times.

And I’m kinda sad cuz now it seems like Seung Mi is going to be bad like her mother.  😦  I was really hoping that she could step out from the horrible shadow that her mother cast.  Sigh.  I hope she pulls through in the end and is good again.  Good like Hwan’s image of her is.

Speaking of Hwan…. 🙂  Heehee.  I like seeing his concern for Eun Sung come out.  I felt kinda bad for him though when Eun Sung was telling him that he was the reason she lost her brother.  He was finally starting to be nicer, and then she made him feel so guilty.  And it really wasn’t completely his fault, it’s not like he broke the phone on purpose.

Park Joon Se.  Is one of the most adorable people I have ever seen.  In one of the previous episodes, when he took Eun Sung shopping for her mom’s grave, she said something about something awakening men, and then he was like “Awaken!”  AND IT WAS SO CUTE.  I COULDN’T TAKE IT. I was squealing for a good minute or two, just staring at the screen.  😀  He is kinda creepy though, popping up everywhere Eun Sung is, although it’s really sweet of him to care so much about her.

I also like that friend of Hwan’s who works/manages or whatever that bar.  I thought he was just a mean groupie of Hwan’s, but he’s actually a nice person, letting Eun Woo stay at his apartment.  I can feel that I’m going to be bothered by Eun Woo’s proximity in the future.  Since this is a drama, it’s guaranteed that there are going to be close encounters between Eun Sung and Eun Woo, but they won’t actually see each other and be reunited.  Sighhh, sometimes I wonder why I watch dramas because they really damage my mental health….

Han Hyo Joo’s face is interesting to look at.  I like her faces when she’s being angry.  🙂

And ohmygoodness, Grandma.  You are such a cool person.

Shining Inheritance Episode 2

This episode continued the sadness of the misunderstanding from episode 1.  That dad, letting himself be declared dead when in reality he is very much alive.

That stepmother.  Let me just get this out of my system.  SHE DOES NOT DESERVE TO LIVE.  (Her character, that is, I’m sure the actress is a nice person— or at least nowhere near as terrible as the mom).  Seriously.  She puts on such a nice front, like when she was discussing life insurance with her hubby and she was like oh of course, if you died I would take care of all three!  They’re all my children (haha that’s the name of a soap opera right?  lol).  She is such a gold-digging psycho.  I hope she changes majorly throughout the drama, and as soon as possible.  Else…. I will be smacking a pillow and imagining that it is her.  UGH.

I really dislike Lee Seung Gi’s character right now.  He is actually a super jerk.  I think he’s the worst jerk I’ve ever seen in a drama thus far.  He better change fast too.

Bae Soo Bin is suchhhh a cutie!!! Even though he’s kinda old, like 35 or something, but still, he is verryyyyy attractive.  Hehehehe I think I’m gonna like his character, but I am feeling some heartbreak vibes coming…. :\

I cried so much when Eun Sung was going to commit suicide with Eun Woo.  I’m not sure why, because I usually don’t cry in dramas, but every time Han Hyo Joo cries, I start wanting to cry with her.  I tear up every time she cries, and this time, while they were standing on the high wall and she was telling Eun Woo that they would be able to see their mom and dad…. it really got to me.

I am liking this drama 🙂
